Faith to Fear

(Diamonte)

Faith –
Dependable, resolute
Assuring, comforting, strengthening
Trust, loyalty – hate, doubt
Haunting, hurting, hindering
Terrible, sly
– Fear

Rescue

(Cinquain)

I am
Falling softly;
Unsure of where I’ll land.
But I know I need to clutch on to
My faith.

Hatching

(Tanka)

A fluttery bird,
Lands softly on her new nest,
As she gazes down,
At five bright blue eggs that are,
Shaking with prospects of life.

Seasons

(Haiku)

The leaves drifted off
The sturdy tree onto a
Forming pile of snow.
